saw someone on reddit mention you gotta be careful making fun of Taylor Swift on tumblr because the Swifties will get you. there are like 8 swifties on this site and they're playing dolls in their own corner.

American friends: If you are so convicted to donate to food banks during the ending of SNAP benefits, as someone who worked in nonprofit, please know it is much more impactful to donate MONEY than it is to donate food. Food banks can order items in bulk and get them tax free, and it gives them the flexibility to order what they need.

Someone may have already put this in the notes, but if you're donating money to a food bank, and they're a tax-deductible charity and your employer offers matching donations, please look into that! I completely forgot until this post came around that this was an option. I just went in and submitted my receipt, which automatically doubled the $100 I sent to my local food bank to $200. This will really stretch the amount of food that they are able to buy at no additional cost to you.

advertisement is so constant and everywhere i have to wonder if it even works anymore. im aware my bus stop probably has ads on it but i couldnt tell you what for. i hear 'this video is sponsored by' and i start skipping ahead until its over. u can probably argue theyre still getting in your brain by becoming part of the white noise but like idk man. im feelin really "when everything is ads, nothing is." right now.

i do not minmax i do not play competitively i do not optimize my build i do not grind i do not topscore i do not give a shit about leaderboards. i play to have fun and if im not having fun i go do something else
